The new HI-Whistler hostel is located 7 km south of Whistler Village, in the new Cheakamus Crossing development and home of the 2010 Whistler Athlete's Village.

This is a brand new community so maps may not have been updated to reflect this new addition.

From Vancouver by car:
Distance: approximately 115 kilometers
Travel Time: approximately 2 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.
- From Vancouver, travel along Sea-to-Sky Highway/BC 99 NORTH. Be sure to stay left towards Squamish/Whistler at Horseshoe Bay.
- Approximately 50 km after Squamish you will reach Function Junction.
- At the Function Junction cross roads turn right onto Cheakamus Lake Road. 
- Pass the Interpretative Forest on your left.
- Follow Cheakamus Lake Road over the bridge then turn left onto Legacy Way.
- HI-Whistler is the first and only building on the right.

From Vancouver by Bus:
There are 2 main options to take you to Whistler by public transport.

You can take the Snowbus which operates a winter service from Vancouver to Whistler. The Snowbus leaves from opposite HI-Vancouver Central (outside Comfort Inn) and will drop you off at the HI-Whistler hostel - reserved bookings only. Snowbus can be booked at HI-Vancouver Central, HI-Vancouver Downtown, and HI-Whistler hostels, by visiting www.snowbus.com or by calling 1-877-451-1777.

Alternatively take the Greyhound from the downtown terminal - this can be booked at www.greyhound.ca or by calling 1-800-661-TRIP (8747). Then follow directions below from Whistler Greyhound station.

From Whistler Village by car:
Distance: approximately 7 kilometers
Travel Time: approximately 10 minutes, depending on road and traffic conditions.
- From Whistler Village travel along Sea-to-Sky Highway/BC 99 SOUTH for 7km.
- At the Function Junction cross roads turn left onto Cheakamus Lake Road. 
- Pass the Interpretative Forest on your left.
- Follow Cheakamus Lake Road over the bridge then turn left onto Legacy Way.
- HI-Whistler is the first and only building on the right.

From the Greyhound Creekside station by public transit:
Local bus fare: $2.50
Whistler Creekside Greyhound Station (the closest station to HI-Whistler) is located opposite the Legend Hotel on the main street in Creekside. 
- The BC Transit bus stop is right by the Greyhound stop, under the bridge.
- Take bus #1 (Valley Connector) or bus #2 (Creekside/Cheakamus) , make sure the bus says "TO CHEAKAMUS" which will take you to Legacy Way and drop you outside the hostel.


From the Greyhound Whistler Village station by public transit:
Local bus fare: $2.50
The Greyhound Station in Whistler Village is at the Visitors' Centre. 
- The BC Transit bus stop to the hostel is located opposite cross the road from the Greyhound stop on Village Gate Boulevard.
- Take bus #1 (Valley Connector) or bus #2 (Creekside/Cheakamus) , make sure the bus says "TO CHEAKAMUS" which will take you to Legacy Way and drop you outside the hostel.
